Projects > miniature clothing project

Bernhard envisioned a miniature blouse which would encapsulate what she considered the 60's, severely pointed collar and all. Everything from free love and experimental drugs to the riots for civil liberties, all in psychedelic disarray. This is exactly what she wanted. Ruth lived in San Francisco for over 50 years and saw a lot of things come and go. She wanted me to help her make a statement with this garment. What I always remember about our conversations is what she always said to me, "God likes us best when we are flying by the seats of our pants."
