Michael Koch had me miniaturize this hand-made shirt that belonged to his grandfather who lived in Scotland. As you can see there is much wear and tear to this shirt that was most likely worn throughout the 1930s and1940s. Once Michael inherited this garment he actually wore it sometimes himself since they were close to the same size and it comforted to sometimes to wear it. After several year the shirt began to be frayed and Michael's mother in law mended it for him. You can see this at and around the collar area and pocket. When I was asked to miniaturize this shirt I was asked to keep the mended areas in honor of his mother in law too.
