collection of Trish Tieger Tivoli, New York NY

John Laub (1947-2005) showed with Fischbach Gallery in Chelsea.
John's clothes, usually bright colors mixed together, were his trademark and he always painted in them. Since he was a "plein air" painter, his clothes were familiar to many people who passed him as he painted his favorite locales on Fire Island, spots in the Adirondacks and Martha's Vineyard. Keeping these vibrant colors is a means of keeping the vibrant man and artist alive in the words of Bruce Kingsley his long-term partner, New York City
