collection of James Johnson, New York NY

This work is about breaking my rules, my methodologies. These pieces are more playful and not as structured or formal. The colors play more of a role in how they are constructed. I am very anti-methodical with this work and may do many drawings to inform me and to loosen my inhibitions with this body of work. It's very important to me for these to seem as if they were executed fast but in reality are painstakingly deliberate.
