Scribble is a series of studies based on primordial influences built from forms and states of common meaning. By introducing disparate colors and forms, I posit ideas of jarring consequence. Whether the works succeed or fail has little recourse behind the reasons they influence me.

Occasionally, I will use these painting/drawings as jumping off points creating much larger pieces from this series.
