John Laub (1947-2005) showed with Fischbach Gallery in Chelsea.
John's clothes, usually bright colors mixed together, were his trademark and he always painted in them. Since he was a "plein air" painter, his clothes were familiar to many people who passed him as he painted his favorite locales on Fire Island, spots in the Adirondacks and Martha's Vineyard.
