This is a miniature of Miriam Schaer's first vintage dress she bought in 1970. She loved this dress. This was a period in her life where she was gaining an understanding of who she was as a person and an artist. For Miriam, this dress meant an independence from her past life and a doorway into her future. This dress was worn until she could no longer wear it due to the wear and tear. This dress is originally from the 1940's made from wool crepe. It has 3/4 sleeves and is cranberry in color. Please note the detailing at the top of the dress with the insets and bows.
